To release the vehicle, we require:
Your full, valid photocard driving license.
A DVLA check code (for UK license holders) to view your driving record.
Minor endorsements (such as 3 points for speeding) are usually acceptable. However, we cannot insure drivers with major endorsements (such as drink driving or insurance fraud) or those with more than 6 current penalty points. Please contact us prior to booking if you are unsure.
Yes. We accept valid licenses from the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. If your license is in a non-Roman script (e.g., Arabic, Mandarin), an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required alongside your original license.
We operate a strict “Full-to-Full” policy. Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of premium fuel. We ask that you return it full. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, a refueling charge will apply.
Yes. To maintain the pristine condition of our fleet, daily mileage limits apply (typically 100-150 miles per day, depending on the model).
Need to go further? We offer pre-booked “Mileage Boost” packages if you are planning a long-distance tour. Excess mileage is charged at a per-mile rate upon return.
Yes. We offer secure parking for your personal vehicle at our York facility for the duration of your rental. This is complimentary, though vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.
To maintain the showroom condition of our interiors for all guests, we generally do not permit pets. However, exceptions can be made for specialist service animals or if a protective vehicle liner is used. Please discuss this with the team before booking.
The security deposit is a pre-authorization held on your credit card, not a charge. This is released automatically upon the safe, damage-free return of the vehicle. Depending on your bank, it typically takes 3-7 working days to disappear from your pending transactions.
Comprehensive insurance is included, but an excess applies in the event of an at-fault accident or theft. The amount varies by vehicle category (e.g., higher for Supercars than SUVs). You will be informed of the exact excess amount before you sign the rental agreement.
Yes. We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept cash or prepaid debit cards for the security deposit.
